Refund policy

At The Favors Studio (operated by GLEAMIA GIFTS LTD, registered in the United Kingdom), we pride ourselves on crafting high-quality, personalized chocolate favors for your special occasions. Because our products are both perishable food items and custom-made to your exact specifications, our return policy differs from standard retail stores.
Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Custom and Perishable Products (Non-Returnable)


In accordance with international e-commerce laws (including the EU Consumer Rights Directive regarding custom-made and perishable goods), we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Personalized/Customized Items: Any chocolates custom-printed with your names, dates, logos, or specific designs.
  • Perishable Goods: Food items, including our chocolate products, cannot be safely returned or resold due to health and safety regulations.

Once a personalized order enters production, it cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded.


2. Damages, Melting, and Defects


We ship our premium chocolates directly from Turkey to the USA and the European Union. We take immense care in packaging our products to withstand international transit. However, chocolate is sensitive to temperature and mishandling by carriers.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, please inspect it upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
How to report a damaged item:

  1. Email us at thefavorstudio@mail.com with your order number.
  2. Provide clear photos and/or videos showing the damage (e.g., melted chocolate, crushed boxes, or printing errors).

Please Note: While we do our best to protect our products, we cannot be held responsible for minor melting if the package is left outside in direct sunlight or a warm mailbox by the local courier after delivery. We highly recommend tracking your shipment closely and ensuring someone is available to receive it.


3. Approved Refunds and Replacements
If we determine that the issue was due to a manufacturing defect, a printing mistake on our part, or severe transit damage before delivery, we will offer one of the following solutions:

  • A complimentary expedited replacement of the damaged items (if time permits before your event).
  • A partial or full refund to your original payment method.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed automatically within 5–7 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.


4. Lost Packages and Delivery Issues

  • Incorrect Address: We ship to the exact address provided at checkout. The Favors Studio is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
  • Customs Delays: Since our products ship from Turkey, orders crossing into the USA or EU may occasionally experience brief customs delays. We cannot issue refunds for delays caused entirely by international customs processing.
